Vortex, it would seem, stores the downloaded, compressed, mod that you've download from Nexus in your Appdata/Roaming/Vortex directory. For one you can re-locate the /downloads/-directory to a large, slow hd (or for that matter network-drive) if you want. Open up the mod page by clicking the mod tile. In the top right, you will see a download button labelled "Download: Vortex". Clicking this button will trigger a download of the mod's main file via Vortex, provided that Vortex is set up to handle download links (see above). Vortex's mod page reads information from the Download path and the Mod Staging folder path. So for the mods to show up, they would first need to be either an archive in the Download path, or be the folder that outputs after you've extracted from the archive in the Mod Staging path. Go to Settings Downloads click the hyperlink to open your Vortex downloads folder ; Grab your archives from the downloaded mods ; On the new computer, install Vortex (download the latest version from Nexus Mods) Drag and drop your mod archives into the Mods landing zone ; Following that, simply reinstall your mods picking your preferred options.
